They are naturally approved with the right safety elements which need to feature on the safety footwear to ensure that you are protected against injuries. Safety shoes are thus certified either as S1P or S3. If you work in the water or rain, you may want to opt for S3 footwear which is water-repellent. Moreover, the soles on MASCOT's safety shoes are anti-slip so you can stand firm when working on slippery or uneven surfaces. MASCOT also produces safety shoes with anti-static and chemical/heat-resistant soles – and what they all have in common is that they are produced from good and very durable materials which guarantee a long lifetime.

Nail protection and toe caps for different needs
MASCOT supplies footwear with different types of protection to keep your feet protected from harm. Nail protection ensures that sharp objects will not be able to penetrate through the sole from below. The textile midsole is a flexible layer of textile which protects the foot. Comfort remains high as the textile midsole is flexible and bends with your foot. The textile midsole does not conduct the heat or cold and this also helps improve comfort for the user. Selected models of MASCOT safety shoes come with a MASCOLAYER® textile midsole. MASCOLAYER® is soft and flexible which again increases comfort. It also absorbs sweat which improves climate and comfort inside the shoes. Selected models in the MASCOT® FOOTWEAR range have steel nail protection. Steel nail protection is a little plate of steel inside the sole of the shoes to protect the foot.
You will find a broad selection of MASCOT safety footwear with different types of toe caps to protect the toes against impact and pressure. Composite toe caps and carbon fibre toe caps are free from metal and conduct neither the heat nor the cold, ensuring excellent levels of comfort for the user. Moreover, carbon fibre toe caps are supremely light and exceptionally strong. The aluminium toe cap has an ergonomic and spacious fit which leaves plenty of room for the toes to move whenever you bend your foot. The steel toe cap serves to protect your toes against impact and pressure. Toe caps in MASCOT® FOOTWEAR can withstand pressure and impact of up to 200 joules.
Some of our safety shoes also have metatarsal protection which protects the metatarsus against pressure and impact. Footwear with metatarsal protection provides the user with extra safety. The extra protection comes in the form of specially developed EVA which has shock-absorbing properties and feels soft and comfortable inside the footwear. Metatarsal protection is built into the footwear and designed to go unnoticed when walking or working.
